Caroline Miller, Regional Director said "Euro RSCG People are delighted to have been awarded this contract. The University of the Highlands and Islands was looking for an agency to help them expand and increase student numbers from outside the Highlands and Islands area.”
“This is an interesting and challenging brief for us to work on. Euro RSCG People already has a breadth of experience working with Universities to recruit students; however the University of the Highlands and Islands is a very different institution, with multiple campuses in disparate locations.”
Some of the courses it offers are either unique to the University or the environment that they are taught in. Students can study subjects as diverse as Golf management, Adventure Tourism Management, Gaelic Studies, Traditional Music, Scottish History and Marine Science to name but a few.
Euro RSCG People will be working with the University to attract younger students and students from outside the area to study in the Highlands and Islands. The focus of the campaign will be on promoting the courses that make the University different. They will be using a research led approach to identify niche segments and key interest areas to market specific courses to. Reaching these audiences will largely be in the digital space, with Social Media playing a key role in their overall strategy.
