Work will start soon on the planning for Phase two of the Campus bringing further opportunities for those located on the Campus. Occupiers will benefit from co-location with like minded businesses increasing opportunities for collaboration and business development. The Campus core has key themes for activity with a focus on life sciences, research and development and education.
The Campus team, based in Inverness, is available to discuss opportunities with all interested parties. Call us +44 (0) 1463 234171 or send an e mail to inverness.campus@hient.co.uk
Specialist teams within Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) are on hand to support businesses in the following areas:
HIE is the landowner of the Beechwood site that the Campus is being developed on. In addition to fostering collaboration between Campus occupiers, HIE's key role is to put in appropriate infrastructure to this site and open it up for development. This will include roads, pathways, bridges, , utilities, landscaping and innovative, sustainable water runoff solutions. Each Campus partner will be responsible for the development of buildings on their own plots. Opportunities for suppliers and contractors for work commissioned by HIE will be advertised on this website and HIE's website.
Inverness Campus will be open to all. The parkland will be available as a community facility as well as an inspiring landscape for those who will work or study on the site. Plans are at a very early stage for the development of a community centre on the site and consultations with the local community will take place to discuss this proposal, dates to follow.
Inverness Campus is one of the largest projects to be developed in the Highlands and Islands over the last 20 years. HIE is keen to attract partners to the Campus project and would welcome the opportunity to discuss options with potential investors.
