What's on the Campus

Construction is now underway to create Inverness Campus on 215 acres of land owned by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) at Beechwood, east Inverness.

HIE's masterplan promises a sustainable development that is sympathetic to its Highland backdrop, surrounded by 32 acres of parklands.

Inverness Campus will create opportunities for everyone in the Highland community, from school leavers looking to study in the region to life sciences businesses looking to collaborate with one of the three universities represented on the site.

Up to 6,000 jobs could be created at Inverness Campus during the next 30 years, according to independent research. Figures show that the first phase could attract investment of more than £100 million.
