Coronavirus testing centre to open at Inverness College UHI

Inverness College UHI has opened up one of its car parks at the Inverness Campus to support the UK Government in its efforts to increase testing for NHS and other key workers.

A drive-through coronavirus testing facility will open on Sunday (26 April) and will operate on a pilot basis. The facility will be available to key workers by appointment only. The development is expected to mean that part of the wider Inverness will be closed. (See the area highlighted in black on the map.)

Inverness Campus developer, Highlands and Islands (HIE), has reminded the public that key workers are operating at Inverness Campus' Solasta House and are involved in COVID-related work to develop PPE and diagnostics. See here for more on this story.
HIE further reminded those using the Campus for daily exercise not to bring their car and to practice social distancing at all times.
