NHS Highland

NHS Highland opened the new elective care centre for the north of Scotland to patients in April 2023. A stunning new facility specialising in orthopaedics and ophthalmics, the National Treatment Centre- Highland provides an uplifting bespoke environment for patient care. Location at the Campus also offers collaborative opportunities, for example in research with academia and commercial companies.

Scotland’s Rural College

SRUC's current operations at Inverness Campus focus on epidemiology research and veterinary services. In 2023 a new Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre will be opened at Inverness Campus providing accommodation for bio-science businesses alongside the research, business and teaching expertise of the SRUC team.

We believe there’s huge potential in being located on the Campus, which opens up excellent opportunities for joint working. We’re already collaborating with some of the groups on the Campus in various initiatives and research projects, and we expect to continue to develop our shared aspirations.

UHI Inverness

UHI Inverness is one of the largest partners of the University of the Highlands and Islands, a partnership comprising 13 colleges and research institutions.

UHI Inverness is a unique institution, offering both further and higher education, a growing research capacity and progression routes which mean a young person can come and do their Highers but leave with a PhD. We will play a key role in the development of Inverness and the Highlands and as a hub for business, academic and research expertise and knowledge, I can’t think of a better location than Inverness Campus to do this from.
